Hobbies

I love to hear about people's lives and the stories that they have about their lives and experiences. In my spare time I like to read and explore things I don't already know. I love being outside. Mountain biking is one of my favorite things to do. I spent the last 4 months in Haiti doing ethnographic fieldwork for my masters thesis. My research explores the social experiences of humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and rebuilding livelihoods of people living in one neighborhood in Les Cayes, Haiti after Hurricane Matthew.
